ICAIKC's 18th Annual General Meeting Ushers in a Dynamic New Era with Appointment of Executive Committee for 2025-26

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Kuwait Chapter (ICAIKC) successfully hosted its 18th Annual General Assembly Meeting at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Kuwait. The event marked a significant milestone and set the tone for a promising new chapter in the organization’s journey.

The meeting commenced under the leadership of outgoing Chairperson CA Aditya Vikram Dhanuka, with Secretary, CA Venkata Ramana extending a warm welcome and expressing appreciation to all attendees. Treasurer, CA Umesh Soni presented a comprehensive financial report for the 2024–25 term, emphasizing transparency and fiscal responsibility. The financial statements were unanimously approved by the members and the auditor CA Gaurav Handa.

CA Jainuddin Jhabuawala was appointed as the auditor for the 2025–26 term, underscoring ICAIKC’s continued commitment to financial integrity.

In his address, CA Aditya reflected on a year of outstanding accomplishments. From high-impact Continuing Professional Education (CPE) sessions to meaningful health, social, and CSR initiatives, the chapter's efforts were both diverse and far-reaching, highlighting ICAIKC’s unwavering dedication to professional growth.

ICAIKC also played a pivotal role in supporting the ICAI course and facilitating examinations in Kuwait, leading to a noticeable increase in student participation — a vital step in nurturing the next generation of accounting professionals.

CA Aditya extended heartfelt thanks to the entire Executive Committee, past chairpersons, sponsors, and media partners for their steadfast support throughout his tenure.

As the leadership mantle was passed, incoming Chairman CA Rohit Agarwal delivered an inspiring address, paying tribute to CA Aditya and the outgoing team while signaling a new era of innovation and inclusivity. His speech was followed by an enthusiastic introduction of the newly elected Executive Committee, a dynamic group of professionals ready to lead ICAIKC into its next phase of growth.

With CA Rohit Agarwal at the helm as Chairperson, supported by the following office bearers CA Venkata Ramana (Vice Chairperson), CA Umesh Soni (Secretary), CA Firoz Ali (Treasurer) & Executive Committee members; CA Sweta Chipra, CA Jatin Bagaria, CA Andaleeb Girkar, CA Manish Chaturvedi, CA Ketan Puri & CA Vipin Sharma, the Chapter is poised for transformative progress.
