
On the evening of Friday, May 30th, the Kuwait Telugu Diaspora was treated to a spectacular musical celebration, “Raaga Tandavam – A Musical stream with Usha”, organized by the Kuwait Telugu Kala Samithi (TKS). The event featured renowned playback singer Usha, whose enchanting voice set the tone for an unforgettable night of melody and rhythm. She was joined on stage by acclaimed playback singer Arun Kaundinya , Indian Idol Telugu winner Soujanya , and the electrifying Sai–Pawan orchestra team.
The concert captivated the audience with a diverse range of songs, both classical and contemporary, creating waves of nostalgia and excitement. The musical synergy between Usha and her fellow performers left the crowd mesmerized, while the powerful arrangements by Arun Kaundinya and the Sai–Pawan orchestra generated an adrenaline rush, taking the energy in the auditorium to new heights.
A Grand Finale to a Successful Term
As the melodies echoed through the venue, the evening also served as a celebration of leadership and community spirit. TKS President Mr. Dommaraju Krishnam Raju and General Secretary Mr. Gunnam Srinivas expressed heartfelt gratitude as they marked the successful conclusion of their tenure. They shared their joy and pride in what the team had accomplished and extended special thanks to all committee members, sponsors, and association members who stood by and supported the organization’s mission. They also lauded the performers for delivering such a vibrant and soul-stirring show.
In a heartfelt and ceremonious segment, Election Officers Mr. Sai Subbarao, Mr. Bala Raju, Mrs. Jyothsna, officially welcomed the newly elected committee. Their meticulous planning and transparent execution of the electoral process ensured a smooth leadership transition and reinforced the association's commitment to democratic values and organizational integrity.
Amid applause and admiration, the gathering also took a moment to honor Mrs. Jyothsna Kishore, the first woman president of TKS Kuwait, who served two impactful terms. She was felicitated by Mr. Krishnam Raju and the outgoing committee for her pioneering leadership and her role in inspiring broader participation from women in the Telugu community abroad.
Adding a powerful dimension to the evening, Mr. Madhusudhan Rao , a special guest from the National Informatics Centre , addressed the audience on a topic of national significance. He spoke about the cyber-attacks that occurred during Operation Sindhoor and how India responded with resilience and technical prowess. His presentation struck a chord with the audience, whose thunderous applause echoed a collective sense of pride and patriotism — a fitting close to a night that blended art, culture, leadership, and national spirit.
