FAIPS was declared the National Winner of the Your World Video Competition, emerging victorious among several participating schools across Kuwait. This prestigious global-level competition, held annually by the British Council, challenges students to work collaboratively and demonstrate a blend of creativity and teamwork by producing a compelling three-minute video on a given theme. This year’s topic, “Skills for Sustainability – Equipping All Youth for the Future,” encouraged students to explore how young minds can contribute to a more sustainable and responsible future.
The winning team comprised IGCSE Year 3 and Year 2 students - Syeda Saleha, Neha Sujith, Amina Shajal, Aiman Rafiq, and Matylda Sobocinska whose impactful video showcased thoughtful insights on sustainability and youth empowerment. In recognition of their achievement, each student received a 50 KD Xcite voucher, along with certificates and a school trophy presented by the British Council.
FAIPS students brought glory to the school by winning the English Literature Week events. The IGCSE Year 1 team - Radhika Srinivasan, Samaa Ashraf, and Lojain Adel – secured the coveted first place in the Role Play competition, while Ms. Dahlia Zaman of IGCSE Year 2 clinched second place in the Poetry Recitation competition.
