The IDAK-KDD Shooting Championship 2025 held at Mayadeen Shooting Range(Q8 Shooting) proved to be a spectacular display of skill, sportsmanship, and spirited camaraderie.
Organized by the IDAK Sports Committee team comprising Dr. Eldho George (Chair), Dr. Renjit George (Co-Chair), Dr. Anjana Nair, Dr. Abraham Thomas, Dr. Sharon Thomas, and Dr. Varsha Manmohanan, the event was a true testament of teamwork and sporting spirit.
The event was flagged off by IDAK President Dr. George P. Alex, in presence of the Chief Guest Mr. Anand, representing title sponsor KDD, along with the remittance partner, Al Mulla Exchange, thus setting the stage for a thrilling day of marksmanship.
Participants were given a detailed introduction to shooting and carefully guided through the different forms of the competition by the proficient instructors. Participants competed in two main categories, namely Rifle shooting and Pistol shooting, showcasing precision and focus.
Winners in the Rifle shooting Category were as follows:

• 3rd Place: Dr. Joe
Winners in the Pistol shooting Category were as follows:
• 1st Place: Dr. Suchindran
• 2nd Place: Reuvan Thomas
• 3rd Place: Dr. Jijan
Dr. Shiraz (Rifle) and Dr. Suchindran (Pistol) were crowned as Top Shooters of the Championship, displaying their outstanding performance and accurate aim under pressure!
Talented photographers Dr. Jijan, Dr. Nithin, Dr. Jyothy, and Dr. Abraham used their lenses to capture the essence and excitement of the championship with remarkable clarity, while Dr. Asheel, Dr. George, and Dr. Sudhin flawlessly coordinated the event behind-the-scenes.
The IDAK-KDD Shooting Championship 2025 will be remembered as a landmark event that brought the IDAK community together in the true spirit of sportsmanship.
