FAIPS DPS Kuwait students returned recently from an enriching and culturally rich trip to Japan from March 19th to 27th March 2025. The eight-day trip allowed students to experience firsthand Japan's aptly balanced mix of tradition and the modern world, its stunning landscapes, ancient landmarks, and technological marvels.
The journey started in Tokyo, where students witnessed the renowned Tokyo Skytree and strolled through the vibrant Asakusa and Nakamise Street. A visit to the Miraikan Science Museum provided an insight into Japan's technological advancements, while the serenity of Ueno Park brought a fine blend of nature and culture. The expedition continued with a breathtaking ride on the Owakudani Ropeway, topped by the serene Lake Ashi Cruise, which offered a breathtaking sight of Hakone's tranquil beauty.
One of the exhilarating experiences was riding on the legendary Shinkansen bullet train, reaching 320 km/h speeds, as the team moved on to Osaka. At Osaka, the students explored historic Osaka Castle, shopped at colorful Shinsaibashi district, and imbibed Nara's charm with visits to Nara Deer Park, Todai-ji Temple, and Kasuga Taisha Shrine. The trip to serene Yoshikien Garden was also part of the cultural exposure.

No trip to Japan would be complete without an experience of its top-notch entertainment. The team enjoyed a bashing day out at Universal Studios Japan, thrilling in its breathtaking rides and experiences. The trip was not merely a sight-seeing tour but an enriching educational tour as well that instilled cultural insight and appreciation amongst the students. It provided them with a different perspective on the country's historical wealth, advancements in technology, and natural environments, making the trip an unforgettable experience. This amazing experience has definitely made a long-lasting impression on the students and motivated them to embrace world cultures and broaden their minds.
Mr. Ravi Ayanoli, Principal, FAIPS-DPS has said that the school organizes these educational trips to different destinations to make the students learn new things and valuable life lessons for them to become global citizens.
