The Kindergarten students at Indian Learners’ Own Academy celebrated the Black and White Day with great enthusiasm and creativity on Thursday, 1 May 2025. The event featured a series of fun and educational sensory activities designed to enhance both fine motor skills and sensory development.
The little ones of UKG had the opportunity to engage in an exciting activity where they pasted bits of black and white paper to form a vibrant football image. This hands-on task not only allowed the children to explore textures and colors but also encouraged their creative thinking as they worked together to complete their artwork.
In addition to the paper-pasting activity, the LKG children also took part in a colouring and cotton-bud pasting session. Using cotton and applying glue and paste was an excellent exercise in fine motor development, helping the children strengthen their hand-eye coordination while creating intricate designs.
The Principal Mrs. Asha Sharma expressed her appreciation for the students' dedication and creativity. “I am truly impressed by how beautifully the children engaged with the activities and how much they’ve developed their fine motor skills in such a short time,” said the Principal.
