The Investiture Ceremony of Integrated Indian School was held with great dignity and enthusiasm on 5th May 2025, marking a proud moment in the school’s journey of cultivating leadership, responsibility, and student empowerment.
The ceremony commenced with a respectful salutation, followed by the Kuwait National Anthem, paying homage to the nation. A spiritually uplifting recitation from the Holy Quran, along with its translation, set a solemn tone for the proceedings. This was followed by a heartfelt prayer led by the Principal, invoking blessings and guidance for the newly appointed student leaders.
The event continued with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, a traditional symbol of wisdom and enlightenment. The lamp was lit by Principal Mrs. Ritu Mathur, Manager Mr. Mohd. Ali, Head Mistress Mrs. Jinshy Ajish, and the Supervisors, signifying the illumination of the path ahead for the student council.
A defining moment of the ceremony was the badging of the newly elected leaders. The Principal pinned badges onto the Head Boy Aaron Eapen Reji and Head Girl Sumayah, symbolizing their authority and the responsibility entrusted to them to lead with integrity and commitment. Following this, the Head Mistress conferred badges to the Vice Head Boy and Vice Head Girl, acknowledging their role in supporting the leadership team. The Principal then administered the Oath of Office, solemnly binding the entire student cabinet to the core values of honesty, integrity, and dedication, as they embraced their new roles with pride and purpose.
The newly appointed Head Boy and Head Girl addressed the gathering with powerful commitment speeches, where they articulated their vision and expressed a deep sense of duty, sincerity, compassion, and inclusivity in serving their peers and school community.
Following the speeches, the Principal addressed the cabinet members, offering words of encouragement and guidance. She emphasized the importance of leading by example, remaining grounded in values and always striving to uplift others.
The ceremony concluded with a warm and gracious Vote of Thanks delivered by Head Mistress, who expressed heartfelt appreciation to all those who contributed to the success of the event and extended her best wishes to the new student leaders.
The Investiture Ceremony was a true celebration of leadership, marking the beginning of a purposeful journey for the student council, guided by the values that define Integrated Indian School.
