
The Indian Community School Kuwait, Amman conducted its investiture ceremony for the academic year 2025-2026 on 24th April 2025. It was a defining moment and an occasion of paramount importance. A day of pride and honour wherein the elected student leaders of the school senate were duly sworn in. It also highlights the trust and confidence the school entrusts in them as they embark on their journey of leadership and vow to perform their duties with responsibility.
The Chief Guest of the event was Dr. Sameer Humad, MBBS, MD, Consultant Radiologist, Jahra Hospital, Kuwait and President of the Indian Doctors Forum. The ceremony commenced with the Chief Guest handing over the flags to the core senate.
Principal Mr. Rajesh Nair delivered the welcome address and extended a hearty welcome to the Chief Guest, parents and all present. He felicitated the Chief Guest by presenting a bouquet and memento. He lauded the democratic process of election, praised and congratulated the newly elected school senate. In his address, he advised and reminded the senate leaders of their obligations towards the school and the student body they represent.
The senate advisor Mrs. Sumitra Nandakumar commended the winners and shed light on the smooth running of the electoral process.
In his address, Dr. Sameer Humad congratulated the newly elected senate. He commenced his inspirational, earnest and thought-provoking speech, by highlighting that the greatest values and virtues in life are being humble, honest, kind and humane. Being a man of exceptional qualification and holding great leadership positions both at work and in the society, his speech was an inspirational take away for all present. The values he instilled in his speech will always be cherished by all.
Dr. Sameer Humad presented the badges to the senate advisor, the house mentors and the school senate. The principal Mr. Rajesh Nair administered the oath to the school senate and the prefects of all the classes. The President of the Student Senate, Adil Rifai conveyed his gratitude to everyone present and delivered the acceptance speech on behalf of all the senate members.
The audience were entertained with a beautiful, elegant and graceful invocation dance and a melodious motivational song.
The vote of thanks was presented by the Vice Principal, Dr. Mary Isaac. She conveyed her heartfelt thanks to everyone present. In her speech, she complimented the senate and also reminded them to carry out their duties with utmost earnestness, assiduity, perseverance and dedication.
The ceremony concluded with the senate marching off the venue escorting the Chief Guest.
