OICC Kuwait one of the leading Socio-welfare Associations in Kuwait is set to confer the First Rajiv Gandhi Pravasi Award 2025 to K.C. Venngopal M P by Sayed Sadik Ali Shihab Thangal, President of Indian Union Muslim League, Kerala State Committee on the evening of Friday 9th May 2025 at Shuwaikh Freezone Convention Centre and Royal Suite.

As announced by Varghese Puthukulangara, President of OICC Kuwait in a press meet highlighted the Award which is coinciding with their 10th Anniversary Celebrations Venu Poornima 2025.

While talking about the arrangements of the Award celebration, Varghese Puthukulangara emphasized that a 3-member jury committee unanimously selected K.C. Venngopal to this Prestigious award for his outstanding societal services over the years.

KPCC General Secretary and in charge of OICC Kuwait and the daughter of Late Oommen Chandy Dr. Maria Oommen will also participate in the award functions, along with other personalities from different fields.

A musical extravaganza has also been arranged to entertain the audience.

In addition to Varghese Puthukulangaram, President, Samuel Chacko Vice -President, B.S. Pillai General Secretary and M A Nizam, Secretary were present in the press meet.
