Under the esteemed patronage of the Embassy of India, Kuwait, SamskritaBharati Kuwait celebrated Samskritotsava–2025 with great enthusiasm and cultural fervor on 2nd May 2025 at the Indian School of Excellence, Salmiya.
The celebration was inaugurated by Mr. Harit Shelat, Second Secretary (Community Affairs and Association), Embassy of India, Kuwait. He was accompanied by prominent representatives from leading Indian community organizations, including The Art of Living, Amma Kuwait, NSS, NAFO, The Gujarati Cultural Association, Kuwait Kannada Koota, SevaDarshan, and others. In his keynote address, Mr. Harit Shelat spoke about the timeless relevance of Sanskrit and conveyed the heartfelt wishes of the Honorable Ambassador to the organizers and attendees.
The evening unfolded as a vibrant cultural extravaganza conducted entirely in Sanskrit, showcasing the language’s beauty, versatility, and continuing legacy. Children, parents, esteemed guests, and dedicated SamskritaBharati volunteers came together to present a series of enthralling performances, including lively dances, thought-provoking skits, and other engaging acts that reflected their creativity, love and mastery in Sanskrit.
A special highlight of the event was the certificate distribution ceremony, honoring the winners of the Gita Chanting Competition held in December 2024. The recognition served as a source of encouragement for participants and a testament to their dedication to Sanskrit learning.
The celebration concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks and a standing ovation from the appreciative audience, making Samskritotsava–2025 a truly memorable and inspiring occasion.
