Helen Susan Jose Soars to Victory in Star Voice Mega Finale!

The grand finale of the Indian Star Voice competition, organized by the Indian Art Federation (IAF) Kuwait to showcase the musical prowess of expatriate talents, concluded with Helen Susan Jose from Carmel Indian School securing the coveted first position. The culmination of a rigorous selection process that involved two audition rounds and nearly forty participants, the mega finale spotlighted six exceptional young vocalists.

The event unfolded at the Ahmadi DPS Theatre Auditorium as part of IAF's fifth anniversary celebrations. Helen Susan's captivating performance resonated with the audience and judges alike, earning her the top honor. Ashi Baveja of FAIPS School claimed the second position, while Aisha sanva also representing FAIPS School, secured the third spot.

The auditorium buzzed with energy as a distinguished gathering of Kuwaiti media personnel and leaders from various social organizations witnessed the six finalists weave musical magic. The judges collectively acknowledged the difficulty in choosing a winner from such a pool of remarkable talent. The chief guest, Sadhika Venugopal, graced the occasion and presented the victorious students with cash prizes, certificates of appreciation, and commemorative mementos.

The Star Voice competition, now in its fifth successful year, stands as a testament to IAF's commitment to identifying and nurturing the burgeoning musical talents within Kuwait's expatriate community. IAF President Sherine Mathew reaffirmed the organization's dedication to fostering art and culture among the younger generation and pledged to continue this significant endeavor in the years to come.

The event was further enriched by the presence of esteemed guests, including renowned playback singer Ann Aami, singer Prashobh Ramachandran, General Secretary Leo Kizhakkeveedan Chairman Preman Illath, Cultural Secretary Nirmala Devi, Joint Secretary Murali Murukanandam, Program Coordinator Priya Kannan, and Treasurer Lijo Jose.
