
The Thiruvananthapuram Non-Residents’ Association of Kuwait (TRAK) successfully organized a Medical Awareness Seminar focusing on Cancer Awareness, The Rising Issue of Drug Use in Society, and Excessive Mobile Phone Usage Among Children. The event was held at the Abbasiya Al Nukhba Model School for Special Needs Auditorium.
TRAK President Mr. M.A. Nizam presided over the ceremony, and renowned social activist Mrs. Alicia Kay inaugurated the event. As a token of appreciation, she was honored with a ceremonial golden-bordered shawl and a memento.
The seminar featured insightful sessions by Dr. Susovana Sujit Nair, Vice President of the Indian Doctors Forum and Senior Medical Oncologist at Kuwait Cancer Center, and Dr. Sankaranarayanan, General Surgeon at Kuwait Military Hospital. Social activist Mrs. Shiny Frank and TRAK Vice President Mr. Mohan Kumar also attended and were honored with mementos for their contributions.
The event was graced by several dignitaries, including TRAK General Secretary Mr. R. Radhakrishnan, Vice President Mr. Sreeragam Suresh, TRAK Women's Wing Joint Treasurer Mrs. Aswathy Arun, KUDA General Convener Mr. Martin Mathew, KUDA Conveners Mr. Jinesh Wayanad and Mr. Sakeer Puthunanagaram, Malappuram District Association President Adv. Muhammed Basheer, FIRA President Mr. Shyjith, and former Thrissur District Association President Mr. Biju Kadavil, who all conveyed their greetings.
Mr. Arun Kumar, Program Joint Convener, delivered the welcome address, while Mr. Mohan Kumar, Program Convener, expressed gratitude through the vote of thanks. The event was skillfully moderated by Ms. Jincy Latheesh. Coordination was handled by Mr. Vipin Varma, along with TRAK Central Executive Members Mr. Renjith Johny and Mr. Prashant Sundaresan.
The seminar was a grand success, further reinforcing TRAK’s ongoing commitment to promoting health awareness and community welfare.
