The nicotine industry has been increasingly viewed as one of the most disruptive, with vapes now commonly perceived as an alternative to traditional tobacco products. Smoking remains the leading cause of preventable death and disease costing society billions annually.
To increase awareness of the harmful and deadly effects of tobacco use, vaping and secondhand smoke exposure, and to discourage the use of tobacco in any form, Indian Doctors Forum partnered with Indian Schools in Kuwait to deliver an impactful awareness session in the different Indian schools across Kuwait on 16th April 2025.
Around 20 Indian doctors participated in this great initiative and the sessions were very well received by the school management and the students. The Principals of the schools expressed their appreciation for the inspiring presentation and the doctor's ability to present the subject in such an interesting way for the children. They wholeheartedly welcomed and expressed their gratitude towards IDF for such a noble initiative and they look forward to having more of such sessions in the schools. IDF led by the President Dr.Sameer Humad expresses his gratitude and appreciation to all the participating doctors who took time off for this great cause for the society.
The commitment of Indian Doctors Forum on Community welfare is on the forefront and the roadmap builds on the comprehensive approach needed to protect future generations, close the gap in healthy life expectancy and reduce the burden on medical services.
