A country where tradition meets art, culture meets modernity and innovation meets creativity: KUWAIT, a land where deserts meet towers. Kuwait is a nation that is rising swiftly with new ideas in the hi-tech world, but that doesn’t mean it has forgotten its culture. From only a desert where fishermen hunted for fish and pearl divers searched for pearls to the discovery of oil and the rise in the economy, things have changed. But not all of it, Kuwait still holds every piece to the puzzle of history very carefully in the glasshouses build inside the hearts of every Kuwait national and resident.
When the sun sets, and the waves thrash the seashore, the feeling of the day ending sinks in. Whether it is a picnic on the beach or a long drive to the deserts, a weekend can never go with being bored in Kuwait. You can never get tired of watching the glistening towers and malls shining with elegant lights amidst the darkness of the sky in Kuwait City. It almost feels like as if you are in the downtown area of New York City!
Apart from that, Kuwait is also known as the ‘Hollywood of the Gulf’ by being the first gulf country to produce such talented, leading artists in the industry of theatrical movement. The nation is also quite famous for its specialty: Shopping malls. It’s as if you name the shopping mall and they have it! Such as “The Avenues, Marina Mall and The Assima Mall” These malls offer luxury brands, restaurants and arcades for entertainment.
There is also a great deal of tourist attractions here in Kuwait such as “The Kuwait Towers” which stand mighty and strong adding a touch of culture to the horizons of the Kuwait City. “The Al Hamra Tower” which is the tallest building in Kuwait and the tallest, curved concrete skyscraper in the world. “The Al – Qurain Martyrs Museum” which is the perfect place to discover Kuwait’s resilience during the Gulf War battle, the museum is a reminder of the bravery and patriotism during the war.
Can you believe the fact that Kuwait, being such a small country has the strongest currency in the world. When I found out about this fact, I was in awe. I could never have imagined our wonderful Kuwait was this powerful as well. But of course, all of this has happened by the hard – working and marvelous work of the Kuwait government. Besides this, Kuwait is one of the fastest growing countries in the world with its innovative and modern ideas for a more sustainable and locked future.
In conclusion, Kuwait, the land which feels, smells and calls of home is the land I cherish and love the most after our motherland India. After spending my whole childhood in this fabulous country, I would like to thank the Almighty god for giving me a chance to live here, in KUWAIT.
