The Kindergarten Graduation Ceremony of Indian Learners’ Own Academy for the academic year 2024-25 was a grand celebration filled with joy, enthusiasm, and heartfelt moments. The event marked an important milestone in the lives of the young graduates of UKG, recognizing their achievements and growth as they stepped into the next phase of their academic journey.
The ceremony commenced with a warm welcome speech, followed by the recitation of the Holy Quran, bringing a sense of peace and blessing to the occasion. The Kuwait National Anthem and the Indian National Anthem were played, instilling a sense of pride and unity among students, parents and faculty members.
A traditional lamp-lighting ceremony was held, symbolizing the light of knowledge and wisdom. The dignitaries, along with the school Principal and Chairman, took part in this auspicious moment.
The atmosphere was further enriched by a mesmerizing Peacock Dance performed by the UKG students. Dressed in beautifully designed costumes, the young dancers captivated the audience with their graceful moves.
The School Principal Mrs. Asha Sharma, extended a warm welcome to the esteemed Chief Guest Dr. Geetika Ahuja Principal of Aspire International School, Guests of Honor, Captain D.N. Pushkarna and Mrs Himani Pushkarna.
Mrs. Asha Sharma addressed the gathering highlighting the importance of early childhood education and the efforts of the school in nurturing young minds.
The event continued with much-anticipated prize distribution ceremony, where the Toppers and All-rounders of LKG and UKG for the academic year 2023-24 were honored for their outstanding achievements.
The chief guest Dr. Geetika Ahuja, graced the occasion with her presence and delivered an inspiring address, appreciating the dedication of the school in fostering holistic development among students.
Adding to the excitement, the UKG students performed a meaningful skit titled “Helping Others,” conveying the values of kindness.
The highlight of the event was the graduation ceremony, conducted in phases for each section. A delightful Mickey Mouse dance was performed by LKG-A students, who charmed the audience dressed as Mickey and Minnie Mouse. LKG-B performed an energetic dance ‘No name, No face, No number’, followed by the adorable Toca Toca dance by LKG-C students.
The event also featured a creative skit by LKG-D students, a tug-of-war between healthy and junk food, promoting awareness of good eating habits and reinforcing the importance of a balanced diet. In a heartwarming gesture, UKG students performed a special Thank You Dance, expressing gratitude towards their teachers and parents. An appreciation message by Ilham Salih, a student from UKG-B, added a personal touch to the celebrations.
The anchors Andrea Ann Bijo and Davis Jin Jacob impressed the audience with their poise and clarity, effortlessly steering the event with charm and confidence.
The ceremony concluded with a grand finale, where all the students who participated in various performances gathered on stage for a group photograph with the dignitaries, Principal, Chairman Vice Principals and kindergarten teachers.
The Kindergarten Graduation Ceremony at Indian Learners’ Own Academy was indeed a memorable event. With 135 UKG students graduating and 85 students participating in performances, the event was a proud moment for both students and parents.
Parents have conveyed their profound admiration for the unwavering dedication of the teachers and the exceptional accomplishments of the students.
