The Iftar gathering organized by the OICC National Committee was held on Saturday, the 15th, at Abbasiya United Indian School. The event was inaugurated by OICC National President Varghese Puthukulangara. Vice President Samuel Chacko Katturkaleackl presided over the function, while writer and Chandrika newspaper’s Kuwait editor Farooq Hamadani delivered the Ramadan message.

A pledge against drug use, particularly targeting students and youth, was led by Joint Treasurer Rishi Jacob, who administered it to the audience.

Rev. Father Biju Parakkal of Saint Gregorios Orthodox Maha Edavaka, Azeez Thikkodi, Benny Orma, and National General Secretaries Varghese Joseph Maraman, Joy John Thuruthikkara, and Binu Chembalayam extended their greetings.

The poster for the painting competition “Nirakkoottu,” organized by the OICC Ernakulam District Committee on April 4, was unveiled during the gathering.

OICC Organization General Secretary B.S. Pillai delivered the welcome address, while Secretary Joy Karavaloor expressed gratitude. The event saw the participation of political, social, business, and media leaders.

National Secretaries Nissam Thiruvananthapuram, Suresh Mathur, various district committee leaders, youth wing activists, and representatives of affiliated organizations coordinated the Iftar gathering.
