
Hyderabad Muslim Welfare Association (HMWA) hosted a grand and traditional annual Iftar get together, which held on Friday, the 14th March-2025 in Masjid Al Muzaini Salmiya Kuwait. Program was well attended by more than 400 people including Ladies and children and enjoyed the blessed day of Ramadhan.
The program started at 5:00 pm. with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Abdul Kareem Gen. Joint secy HMWA Ateeq ur Rahman initiated the program and staged the Master of ceremony in a professional manner.
Distinct guests from Kuwait FIMA president Kareem Irfan graced the occasion, Mr. Esdani Basha, Dr Nayeem HMWA president Mr Haneef IMWA presdent, Mujtaba Quadri, Dr Arbab and representatives from various social organizations and prominent personalities from India and Hyderabad shared the dais and hailed the activities carried out by HMWA.
Newly elected resident Dr Nayeem addressed and welcomed audience. He highlighted the various welfare activities done by HMWA related to education and uplifting the poor irrespective of cast and creed. He also congratulated the audience for getting yet again precious month of Ramadhan reminded the attendees about the further role needed by everyone for uplifting the society through charity and care

Famous guest Speaker and well-known Radio Kuwait question and answer cleric Sifaat Alam Madani Sahab was the main Speaker of the day and spoke on the topic KUNTUM KHAIRU UMMAT. As usual he captured the attention of all the attendees through his dynamic addressing style, he also emphasized how Ramadan is the month of patience and Quran, which is the guidance for all mankind, and it shows the straight path to whoever seeks guidance and who obeys Allah. He described the responsibility of the Muslim community to uphold righteousness, guide others toward good, and stand against wrongdoing promoting social harmony, strengthening family bonds, and fostering a sense of unity within the community

He urged people to follow in the remaining days of Ramadhan the teaching of Quran and Sunna of Prophet Mohammed, said only these people will be successful in this world and the life after this world. He said Surely people who extend good work for humanity and follow norms of the religion will always be dominant and successful and be stuck to teaching of Prophet Mohammed PBUH, Shaikh Sifat also highlighted the importance of teaching good forbidding people for evil. He took a good example from Quran where a bird Hud Hud went to a far region and brought a news of wrongdoing by a community and reported to Prophet Solomon, eventually he requested people to support who are working for a good cause. He took an example of Dr Abdul Rahman Alsumaid who left his medical profession and went to Africa and stayed and helped poor people his entire life and extended services across the globe. Finally, he made a note that Ramadan is the month of Duas, and hence we should be steadfast in our duas seek forgiveness and perform salah prayers not only in Ramadhan but also throughout the entire year.
Mr Abdul Azeem Vice president volunteered the entire event and provided much needed coordination to conduct a successful event
All the volunteers and individuals made excellent arrangements and lead the team of members and youth. All the attendees enjoyed delicious Iftar food and Hyderabadi Biryani at the end of fasting and prayers
All EC worked diligently to make program successful Mushtaq, Nisar Juddy Sahab, Azeem Sahab, Ifthekar Sahab, Awes, Zafer Mahmood , Faheem, Atheeq, Mujeeb, Mubeen (IT)and his nephew Omar and brothers Bhai, CEO Faheem Aslam Bhai, Ahmed, Eng Moazam, Mushtaq (IT) and his son, as well as team members Amer, Zubair Ansari, Ahmed Khan, Javeed Khan, Arif, Younus Khan, Abdul Riaz, the Nizamat team, and Masjid Harees.
