
Kuwait Engineers Forum (KEF) successfully organized one of its flagship events, the KEF Carnival, bringing together its community for a day of fun and celebration.
This year, the KEF Carnival was organized by the KEF Children’s Club (KCC), a representative committee dedicated to the KEF children’s community. The KEF Children’s Club is a new initiative under the guidance and leadership of the current General Convenor, Mrs. Hanan Shan, and her Executive Committee. The club was led by its President- Miss Angela Sunil, Secretary- Miss Sridevi Raroth, Treasurer- Miss Anna Karim, and mentored by Mr. Jacob G Paret.
The KEF Carnival took place at Aspire Bilingual School, Abbassiya, on 21st February 2025, from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM. The event was full of energy, featuring a wide range of activities and competitions. Some of the main highlights included:
•Food Stalls: Showcasing diverse themes that represented the rich cultural diversity of India while also including Western cuisine.
•Game Stalls: Featuring unique attractions like Squid Games, Video Games, and more, offering engaging entertainment beyond conventional mobile games.
•Henna/Mehendi Counters and Painting Stalls: Adding to the vibrant and artistic atmosphere of the carnival.
In addition to these, on-stage and off-stage activities provided a platform for children to showcase their talents. One of the standout events was Just a Minute (JAM), a popular activity in school circles in Kerala, which highlighted participants’ presence of mind, wit, humor, and command of language.
The showstopper of the event was the Stage Shows, featuring “Enacting a Comedy Scene” and “Enacting a Movie Scene”, captivating the audience with impressive acting skills, perfect timing, and remarkable performances.
Overall, the KEF Carnival was a joyous celebration, creating unforgettable memories for the KEF community.
