The Lower Kindergarten (LKG) students of Carmel School hosted an engaging and interactive exhibition on Saturday, 8th February, showcasing their learning across English, Mathematics, Environmental Studies (EVS), General Knowledge (GK), and Art & Craft. This exhibition served as a platform for young learners to display their creativity and understanding of fundamental concepts through charts, models, and interactive displays. The English section featured colorful charts on each letter of the alphabet, helping students recognize and associate letters with words. A creative highlight was the models of capital and small letters, uniquely designed as the fins of a fish, making learning both artistic and fun.

The Math section was filled with exciting models and charts. Children created models illustrating before and after numbers, helping them grasp numerical order. Additionally, charts displaying numbers from 1 to 100 and models of different shapes were exhibited, reinforcing their understanding of fundamental math concepts in a visual and engaging manner.
In the EVS section, the displays included Parts of a
Tree, showcasing leaves, roots, trunk, and branches, and Uses of Water, highlighting the importance of water in daily life. Models of wild and domestic animals helped children differentiate between animals that live in the wild and those kept as pets or farm animals.
The GK section displays included Community Helpers, featuring models of doctors, teachers, police officers, and more; Traffic Lights, explaining road safety rules; and Seasons and Months of the Year, helping children understand time concepts. Models of different modes of transport—land, air, and water were displayed to illustrate the diversity of travel. Additionally, charts on good food habits were presented, promoting healthy eating practices among young learners.
The creativity of the young minds was beautifully presented through art and craft exhibits. Colorful paintings, collages, and handmade crafts decorated the exhibition area. The walls were covered with lady finger and thumb paintings, sequins pasting, and various other creative artworks, showcasing the children's imagination and artistic skills. Each student contributed unique pieces, making the display a vibrant and lively attraction.
The exhibition was a grand success, highlighting the enthusiasm and talent of the LKG students. Parents, were highly impressed by the effort and creativity put into each display.
