Heaps of sand and blazing hot skies often force people to think that Kuwait is a country with dessert climate, has little or no flora and fauna. The common image of Kuwaitis and in more general, the Arabs is based highly on stereotypes. But my visualization of Kuwait is not really as such.
Kuwait, my second home has one of the most hospitable people all around the world that have a very rich culture showered with fascinating traditions and rituals.
Kuwait, my second home is a place full of scenic beauties despite the low diversity in its area. It has the 4th best airlines in the world, 40th most powerful military has been known to have strong political relations with many of the most powerful countries around the world and is one of the richest countries in the world with clean surroundings. Kuwait, my second home may have low diversity of flora and fauna. But the species it has in abundance never fails to make people endure nature and wildlife. The state of Kuwait is an inspiration for all nations. An 18000 sq.km nation having scanty resources shows how a united nation can invest in human capital and be a self-reliant and prosperous country. Today Kuwait provides a living to roughly 4.7 million people out of which a content 2.2 million people account for less than 50% of the overall population whereas a massive hardworking 2.5 million population of expats is determined to shoot their foster nation to heights never thought of before.
Rather petite in area but vast in prosperity and happiness in life, Kuwait is my second home!
