NAFO Conducted “Beach Clean Up”

NAFO-Kuwait is a vibrant global organization, having more than a thousand members and blessed by a strong contingent of steadfast well-wishers, which is registered with the Indian Embassy in Kuwait (Reg. No. INDEMB/KWT/ASSN/94). It is a formidable and forefront association of likeminded and highly influential professionals employed in Kuwait - doctors, engineers, company executives, chartered accountants, entrepreneurs - who are mainly hailing from Southern India. Our important purpose is to propagate the rich Indian cultural tradition and its humanitarian values among the local community in Kuwait, as well as among our member families, and to engage with them to discuss current issues of social and global significances.

In view of social responsibility and to commemorate Kuwait’s 64th National Day and 34th Liberation Day, NAFO-Global Conducted Beach Clean Up on Friday, February 14, 2025. The event was very effective and meaningful by the large participation of members.

NAFO President Vijayakrishnan flagged of the Beach Clean Up event with full enthusiasm. Organizing committee consisted of, Sreekanth Nair (Convener), Naveen C. P, Anish Nair, Unnikrishan Kurup, O.N. Sureshkumar, Subbaraman A R, Jayaraj Edathil, Vinayan Mangalassery, Rajeev Nair, Rakesh Unnithan, Rajesh Kartha, Rahul Rajkumar, Anish Sasidharan, Vimal Nair, Akhil Nair, Latheesh Nair along with NAFO Ladies wing Co-ordinators and General Committee members.

Medx Medical Group and BEC sponsored the event. Medx representative Mr. Ajay participated and congratulate the NAFO members for their sincere effort to conduct beach cleanup program.

The Beach Clean Up day blessed by the nature with a pleasant weather concluded at 10:30 AM.

NAFO Treasurer Unnikrishnan Kurup thanked all the members of NAFO on behalf of the Organizing Committee for making this "Beach Clean Up" a grand success.
