STECI Kuwait Parish conducted its annual family picnic at Kabad

The St. Thomas Evangelical Church of India (STECI) Kuwait Parish conducted its annual family picnic at Kabad on Friday, 14th February 2025.

The event was inaugurated by the Parish Vicar, Rev. Sibi P.J. A variety of fun-filled activities for all age groups added to the joy of this daylong gathering. It was a day of fun and fellowship—a time to mingle, interact, and create cherished memories.

Parish Secretary, Mr. Reju Daniel John, welcomed the members and their families. The subcommittee members coordinated the picnic and all associated activities. After a hearty breakfast, the programs continued with great enthusiasm.

The day commenced with a worship session, followed by games for the tiny tots and gradually moved on to the senior kids. Under the leadership of Mr. Ashish T. Mathew, Mr. Jees George Cherian, and Mr. Kuruvila Cherian, numerous games were organized for children of all ages. It wasn’t just the kids who enjoyed—there were engaging games for men and women alike. One of the highlights of the day was the Tug of War, which saw an overwhelming response, with the crowd cheering on the participants. The thrilling competition, filled with a fantastic display of strength and determination, ended in a nail-biting finish, bringing back nostalgic memories for many. After an energetic morning, everyone gathered for a delightful lunch.

Blessed with pleasant weather, the wonderful day concluded with a group photo session, followed by the grand prize distribution. The awards ceremony was led by Rev. Sibi P.J. Parish Treasurer, Mr. Biju Samuel, expressed the vote of thanks, and Rev. Sibi P.J. concluded the event with a prayer and benediction.

A remarkable end to a spectacular day
