Kuwait Tamil Christian Congregation Hosts Inspiring United Women

The Kuwait Tamil Christian Congregation (KTCC) successfully organized its United Women's Retreat 2025, a day filled with spiritual enrichment, fellowship, and celebration. The event, led by Sis. Gheetha Chellasamy (United women’s fellowship coordinator), brought together women from the congregation including Abbasiya, Salmiya, Mehboula, Riggae, Jahara, Hawally and Farwaniya branch churches for a time of reflection, worship, and community bonding.

The retreat commenced with Call for Worship by the leader, followed by an Opening Prayer by Bro. Arul Jothi (President, KTCC). The United Choir set the tone for the day with Opening Song Vantharulum thooya aaviye, after which Sis. Jamela John Ramesh delivered a warm Welcome Address.

The spiritual journey continued with a Confession Prayer led by Sis. Regina Aruldhas, followed by the Theme Introduction by the leader. The Women's Fellowship Leaders presented the Theme Song, which resonated deeply with the attendees. The atmosphere was further uplifted by a powerful session of Praise & Worship led by Sis. Jenita Pon Sekar and the United choir.

Sis. Vimala Charles led the congregation in an Intercessory Prayer, after which Sis. Sheela Sam shared a meaningful Bible Reading. The highlight of the retreat was the inspiring Message delivered by Sis. Mahiba Benjamin, which left a lasting impact on all present.

The event also featured engaging activities, including a thought-provoking Skit by Sis. Deborah and team and a graceful Choreography performance by the CBS Team. Sis. Irin Babu led the congregation in prayer before the attendees enjoyed a well-deserved Lunch Break, coordinated by Bro. James Alfred (Treasure, KTCC) and team.

The afternoon session began with a prayer by Bro. Arun Packia Sunder, followed by an intellectually stimulating Debate led by Bro. John Ramesh and team. A fun and interactive Quiz conducted by Sis. Mano Sujila and Sis. Jayanthi added a lively touch to the proceedings. Prizes were distributed for the winners and runners by quiz team.

The retreat concluded with a Vote of Thanks by the leader, a final Song by the United Choir, and a Closing Prayer by Bro. John Ramesh. The event ended with the Closing Song by the choir, leaving everyone spiritually rejuvenated and grateful for the enriching experience.

Audio, photo, video coverage and you tube live telecasting had been organized well by media team

The United Women's Retreat 2025 was a testament to the strength and unity of the KTCC and its branches, showcasing the power of faith, fellowship, and collective worship.
