The Indian Badminton Association – Kuwait successfully hosted its Intra-Club Badminton Tournament on 30th & 31st January 2025, bringing together members for 2 days of thrilling competition and camaraderie. Held at IBAK Salwa Gym, the event saw over 100 players from all skill levels. The tournament featured badminton in a variety of categories, including Flight 1 Professional Doubles (Russian Roulette), Flight 2 Advance Doubles, Flight 3 Intermediate Doubles (Open of All), Flight 4 Lower Intermediate Doubles (Open of All), PCP and Advance Coaching (Russian Roulette).

The newly introduced "Russian Roulette" category added a unique twist to the competition. The "Russian Roulette" format, where players faced random challenges, was a crowd favorite and tested the adaptability and resilience of participants.

The tournament kicked off with an electrifying atmosphere, with players showing exceptional sportsmanship and determination. Spectators cheered on their fellow members as matches unfolded throughout the day, with exciting rallies and close contests keeping everyone on the edge of their seats.

“This year’s tournament was a resounding success, not just in terms of competition, but also in strengthening the sense of community within our club,” said Chairman of IBAK, Dr.Manimara Chozhan “It was incredible to see members, both seasoned players and newcomers, come together for fun and spirited competition.”

The event concluded with an awards ceremony, where winners, runners & semi-finalists were honored with trophies. IBAK also recognized the efforts of their committee members and volunteers who played a crucial role in making the tournament a success.
