FAIPS DPS Class 6 Immortalizes time in ‘Beyond the Clock Tower’

The corridors of FAIPS reverberated with excitement on the morning of 16th January, 2025 in the capacious auditorium, as the students of Grade 6 geared up to celebrate their Annual Day with vibrant enthusiasm. The event was graced by the esteemed Chief Guest, His Excellency Eduardo Patricio Pena Haller, Ambassador of the United Mexican States. Ms. Amna Al Moamen, Students Affairs Supervisor, MOE was the guest of honor.

The day’s events commenced with an auspicious rendition of the Holy Quran followed by the lighting of the lamp. The Principal, Mr. Ravi Ayanoli graciously welcomed the esteemed dignitaries and the parents. In his address to the gathering, he highlighted the need for a holistic development of children and the crucial role of the parents' encouragement and support in achieving their goals by allowing them to participate in school activities along with academics.

The theme, ‘Journey Through Time’, embarked on an odyssey spanning various eras of civilizations through captivating stories, dances and songs. The event began with the spectacular Welcome Dance, an amalgamation of seven Indian classical dances, in perfect harmony. An electrifying tribal dance, with the children swaying to the rhythmic beats of drums, unraveled the dawn of civilization. The audience was spellbound as the percussionists created magic with their hands, feet and music, replacing sound into a symphony of energy and creativity. The beauty of the peacocks, as they spread their blue and green feathers, was a sight to behold as the graceful dancers danced their way into the hearts of the audience.

The heartwarming English song created a world of joy, laughter and love uniting mankind thereby giving hope for a promising future. ‘Ripples through Time’ traced the passage of time, echoing fleeting moments and fascinating stories through centuries. The ever popular Mime, depicted the evolution of the world, through body motions, without the use of speech. The auditorium came alive with the dazzling Arabian dance combining the charm of the past with modernity, yet holding on to their unique culture. Finally, the energetic Evolution Dance and the Mario Dance received thunderous applause from the audience as the exuberant dancers transported the audience into a future where dreams take flight.

The Chief Guest, His Excellency Eduardo Patricio Pena Haller, in his address, congratulated the students for their remarkable performances on stage. He appreciated the hard work of the teachers and advocated the importance of teaching values to the younger generation. The two shining stars of FAIPS, Bhavanya Panchumarthi, and Sruthi Vagvala, were honoured by the Chief Guest, for their achievements in the Kuwait International Chess Festival Tournament and in the CBSE National Badminton Championship, 2024 respectively.

The event culminated with a vote of thanks by the Headmistress of the Middle School, Ms. Deepa Elezabeth, who expressed her gratitude to the management, faculty, parents and students for their selfless efforts in making the day a truly memorable experience.
