The first executive committee meeting of the Kuwait chapter of the Indian nursing organization - United Nurses Association (UNA) was held at the Fahaheel Thakara Restaurant Auditorium. The meeting was presided over by President Sanjith Paul, and General Secretary Ramya Aksinov welcomed the gathering.

The meeting elected the following office bearers: Sanjith Paul-President, Ramya Aksinov-General Secretary and Faris Kallan- Treasurer. The meeting also elected Sreerag Navayat and Tara Manoj as Vice Presidents, Dhanyaraj Tarakat and Tintu Prakash as Joint Secretaries, Shuhaib Muhammad as Joint Treasurer and Jinish Philip as National Coordinator.

Executive Members are Joshi Joseph, Nihas Vanimel, Rekha TS, Ramis Thekkekkara, Shilpa KS, Javed Bin Hameed.

The meeting discussed a plan for the activities for the entire year. The meeting also decided to hold a mega event for the nurses family as part of the Nursing Day celebration in May. Treasurer Faris Kallan proposed the vote of thanks.
