Morning of Thursday,19th December 2024,saw the spectacular FAIPS Annual Day Function ‘Heal the World’ with great elation and gusto at the state of art school auditorium put up wholeheartedly by the grade 3 students.
The event commenced with the rendition of the Holy Quran followed by the lighting of the lamp. The Principal, Mr. Ravi Ayanoli welcomed the esteemed guests of the day: the Chief Guest His Excellency Mr. Olivier Gauvin, Ambassador of France to the State of Kuwait, the Guest of Honor Dr. Sameer Humad, President of IDF Kuwait. Also welcomed special guests Mr. Benoit Cathala, Director, IFK, Cultural Attaché, Embassy of France, Kuwait and Dr. Said, Assistant Director, French Institute in Kuwait. In his welcome note, the Principal, Mr. Ravi Ayanoli highlighted the crucial role that both parents and teachers play in nurturing the students…. global citizens of tomorrow.
The theme of the event ‘Heal the World’ was synchronously choreographed and meticulously expressed through a wide array of performances starting with heartwarming Hindi and English songs that left everyone in awe by showing that there is still hope to protect the Earth. The inaugural dance ‘Rhythm of Life ‘lit up the morning by beautifully conveying the message to protect the trees. The jaw dropping act of mime by ‘Silent Riders’ shouted out the importance of saving water. The carefully choreographed French, Arabic, Gujarati, Goan, fusion and contemporary dances left the audience cheering for more.
The culminating power packed performance of the ‘Thunder Threads’ featured stunning display of moves. Their infectious smiles and spirited movements brought a sense of joy, leaving everyone excited for next year’s celebration.
The Chief Guest, His Excellency Mr. Olivier Gauvin commended the students for their outstanding performances. He applauded the school for excelling not only in academics but also fostering overall development of its students. He further pointed out the collaboration of FAIPS with the French Institute Kuwait to not only encourage but enhance the French language and activities related to it.
The Guest of Honor Dr. Sameer Humad , who is also the father of 2 alumni of FAIPS; in his address was full of appreciation to see the growth of the school infrastructure and facilities. He praised the school for providing successful and responsible alumni to the world.
The function ended with a vote of thanks by the Headmistress of the Primary School,
Ms.Seema Bhatnagar who appreciated the management, faculty, parents, and students for their efforts and making the day a memorable one.
