The Annual Day celebrations at United International Indian School on the morning of 7th December 2024 were a resplendent showcase of achievements, milestones, and the vibrant enthusiasm of the school community. The event was graced by the esteemed Chief Guest, His Excellency Archbishop Eugene Martin Nugent, the Vatican Ambassador to Kuwait, along with prominent dignitaries, including Sister Sarita, Principal of Carmel School, Kuwait, Mr. Joel Jacob, Executive Administrator, Mr. C. Radhakrishnan, Principal of United Indian School, Kuwait, and Mrs. Annamma Cherian, Principal of Indian Public School, Kuwait.
The Chief Guest’s inspirational address underscored the enduring values of education and the significance of nurturing young minds to foster a brighter and more compassionate future. The festivities commenced with an introductory address, followed by the recitation of the Quran, its translation, and a heartfelt prayer song performed by the juniors. Senior students then delivered a captivating Choral Symphony, which paved the way for a series of enthralling performances.
The program unfolded with an array of dazzling acts, beginning with an engaging opening performance by Grade 3 and 4 students. The energy continued to rise with a lively Cuban ballroom dance, "Chilly Chacha," performed by Grade 5 students, followed by the dynamic "Jive Jimbore" Hawaiian and Spanish dances by Grade 7 and 8 students.
The celebration also featured a graceful Japanese dance, a riveting mime act titled Sports Blitz, and an exhilarating Fusion Fiesta blending Arabic and Bollywood themes. Each performance showcased the students' dedication, creativity, and the meticulous guidance of their mentors.
The highlight of the morning was a special performance symbolizing unity and peace, aligning perfectly with the message delivered by His Excellency Archbishop Eugene Nugent.
