Kala(Art) Kuwait “NIRAM 2024” Children’s Day Painting Competition 3085 Children Participated
Kala (Art) Kuwait conducted “NIRAM-2024” Children’s Day Painting Competition in association with American Tourister, on Friday, 6th December 2024 at Indian Community School Kuwait, Khaithan Branch, on the occasion of Children's Day celebration by marking the 135th birth day of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the First Prime Minister of India. Kala (Art) Kuwait is delighted to celebrate its 20th Anniversary of “NIRAM” Painting Competition with elegance and glory which is opened for all students of Indian Schools in Kuwait.
All roads led to the venue of Kala (Art) Kuwait “NIRAM 2024” and the entire venue was full crowded with little artists from various corners of Indian Expatriate Community in Kuwait, as well as from Arab, Philippines and Sri Lankan nationals studying in Indian Schools, flashing with different colours and lines created a festive atmosphere. There were more than a 3820 entries out of which 3085 children took part in the competitions. Clay Sculpture was also a competition item for the students and the parents were actively participated in the open canvas as well.
Indian Community School Kuwait Chairman and Board of Trustee Mr. Sheik Abdul Rahman inaugurated the event. Kala (Art) Kuwait President Siva Kumar, General Secretary Aneesh Varghese, Program General Convener Ragesh P.D, Treasurer, Ajith Kumar, Former President Jaison Joseph, Public Relation Conveners Mukesh V.P, ICSK Principal, Gangader Shirshad, Go Score CEO Mr. Amal G Haridas, Salmiya Clinic Marketing Manager, Mrs. Marwa, Prominent Community Leaders Mr. Javed, Najeeb P.V, Mr. Krishnan Kadalundi, Mr. Aniyan Kuju, Mr. Arun Rajagopal, Mr, Jayash Abdul Kareem & Mr. Sumesh were attended the inaugural function. Mrs. Aneecha Shyjith and Ms Namitha Siva Kumar done compeering.
Well Known Artists Mr. Sasi Krishnan, Mr. Hari Chengannur, Mr. Sunil Kulanada and Mr. Mukundan Palanimala had done the overall supervision of the competition. A team of more than 100 Volunteers of Kala (Art) controlled the program lead by its Executive Members Mustafa, Sunil Kumar, Ashraf, Johney, Vincent, Jyothi Sivakumar, Ambili Rakesh, Aneecha Shyjith, Namitha Sivakumar, Sandhya, Rijo, Vishnu, Shyjith, Sarath, Santhosh. O.M., Prince & Sonia.
The results of the Competitions will be announced by the organizing committee as well as the judging committee on 30th December 2024 through leading newspapers and also websites. The prize distribution ceremony will be held on 10th January 2025 at Indian Community School, Khaithan.
Kala (Art) Kuwait, announce exclusive prizes for the winners. The first place winners of each group will receive a Gold coin & Gold medal, second place winner with silver medal and third place winner with bronze medal apart from memento & certificate. Besides the 1st, 2nd & 3rd, places, there will be Merit Prizes and Ten (10) percent of the participants will be awarded with consolation prizes. Apart from the individual winners, there will be Overall Championship Trophy for the Schools who topped in the first three places in rating.
Also, a Memorial Trophy will be awarded to the School from which the maximum numbers of students were participated in this event, as a tribute to our beloved Late. Mr. C Bhaskaran, one of the founder and advisory board member of Kala (Art) Kuwait.
