A Day of Sunshine and Bonding: Annual School Picnic of Carmel School Students
The arrival of winter in Kuwait is a much-anticipated event, especially for students, as it brings the perfect weather for the annual school picnic of Carmel School Kuwait. This year, the excitement soared when permission was granted for the students of Classes IX to XII to enjoy their day of fun and camaraderie at different locations: Khaitan Garden, Mishref Garden, Fintas Garden, and Ahmadi Garden, respectively.
As the students and teachers arrived at these green havens under sparkling blue skies, they were greeted with open expanses of greenery that promised a day full of joy and relaxation. The vibrant atmosphere was enriched with laughter, freedom, and the spirit of togetherness. Sharing food, playing games, and enjoying nature were the highlights of the day.
Sports enthusiasts seized the opportunity for some spirited competitions. Interclass football matches kept the boys intensely engaged, while the girls enthusiastically played basketball and cricket. A thrilling tug-of-war match added to the excitement, with cheers and encouragement from all sides as teams pulled with all their might. Meanwhile, those less inclined towards sports wandered around the gardens, capturing moments on camera, or sat down for heartfelt conversations with friends.
Class XII students, in particular, made the most of this special day, cherishing their last school picnic together. Running around, singing songs, and capturing countless memories, they bonded over shared laughter and nostalgia, knowing these moments would be etched in their hearts forever.
The annual school picnic not only provided a much-needed break from academic rigors but also strengthened the bonds of friendship and teamwork. It was a day of sunshine, fun, and treasured memories, leaving everyone refreshed and looking forward to the next adventure.
