Tamilnadu Engineers Forum, Kuwait (TEF) is a leading Engineers Association in Kuwait, the one & only ISO 9001:2015 certified non-Profitable organization, registered with the Indian Embassy, Kuwait and KOC HSE & DE & WO Team jointly conducted an awareness session on First Aid, CPR & Fire Prevention on 20th November 2024 (6.15 PM -8.30 PM) @ KOC Tent, Ahmadi. The awareness session was organized exclusively for TEF Members only.

As part of the program, three sessions were organized:

1.First Aid & CPR Awareness Session conducted by Ambulance Services Department, Ahmadi Hospital, KOC

2.Tips on Home Fire Prevention and Demonstration of Digital Fire Extinguisher Simulator was conducted by Mr. Ahmad Al-Mogahwi, Sr. HSE Officer, HSE & DE & WO Team, KOC

3.Awareness Session on Prostate Cancer: Detection & Prevention by Dr. Kavitha Nair, Consultant Radiologist, Kuwait Cancer Center, MOH, State of Kuwait

All the three sessions were found very useful and Question & Answer session was highly interactive. TEF Organizing Committee thanked Team Leader KOC HSE & DE & WO for organizing an awareness session exclusively for TEF members at KOC Tent in Ahmadi.

Eng. Karthik explained the significance of commemorating “Movember” in the month of November to focus on the health of Men. In this regard, Dr. Kavitha Nair, Consultant Radiologist, Kuwait Cancer Center, MOH, State of Kuwait shared a thought provoking presentation on Prostate Cancer.

TEF thanked the event coordinators from KOC Mr. Garlapati Ashok, Consultant, KOC HSE & DE & WO team and Mr. Basheer Malik, Snr. Drilling Industrial Hygienist, KOC HSE & DE & WO Team.

Event was anchored by Eng. Balaji and Eng. Gem Prasanna.

All the presenters were felicitated with mementoes and the event came to an end with dinner.
