Carmel School bid a heartfelt farewell to the outgoing students of Class XII

Mission Accomplished, Memories Cherished!!!!!!

The Carmel School community came together to bid a heartfelt farewell to the outgoing students of Class XII in a ceremony that was a blend of emotions, gratitude, and celebration.

The event began with the singing of the Kuwait National Anthem, instilling a sense of pride and unity among all present. This was followed by a Prayer service, invoking the blessings of the Almighty on the graduating students as they embark on a new chapter in their lives. The serene atmosphere set the tone for the day, emphasizing faith and gratitude.

The Principal’s message was both inspiring and encouraging. The Principal, Sr. Saritha Monteiro A.C., stressed on resilience, hard work, and the importance of carrying forward the values instilled during their school years, and administered the Oath to the graduating class.

A special moment in the program led by Vice Principal Sr. Maria Lekha A.C., was the Blessing imparted by the Management and teachers. Their prayers were heartfelt, leaving the students feeling cherished and supported.

The students of Class XI presented a creative Skit titled Mission Accomplished, symbolizing the journey of their senior’s growth, and the successful completion of their school life. This was followed by a soulful Farewell Song, and a vibrant Dance Medley, celebrating the joy of togetherness.

One of the key highlights of the event was the awarding of Mementos and Titles to the graduating students. Each title reflected the unique qualities and contributions of the students, celebrating their individuality.

Adding a touch of excitement and charm, the Mr. and Ms. Carmel Contest brought out the poise, confidence, and talents of the students, making it a memorable segment of the program. While Melanie D’costa was crowned Ms. Carmel & Emmanuel Roshan Jaiby - Mr. Carmel, Keerath Kaur Sethi & Aaron Sanju Thomas were crowned Runners-up.

Lidiya Ann Shiju & Shabbir Saifuddin Abbas Bhai (12 A), Abigail Elza Jacob & Reno Joby (12 B), Maitri Das Choudhury & Amaan Mohsin Tajkhan (12 C), representing the graduating class delivered moving speeches, sharing their gratitude, memories, and lessons learned. Teacher, Ms. Jessy Scaria spoke on behalf of the teachers with pride and affection, reminiscing the students’ journey and wishing them well for the future.

The musical performance of Go Light Your World left a powerful impact, encouraging the students to spread positivity and make a difference wherever they go. The Grand Finale Dance brought the program to a vibrant conclusion, showcasing the energy and spirit of the students.

The ceremony ended with a heartfelt Vote of thanks by Abigail Elizabeth Cherian, acknowledging the efforts of everyone involved in organizing the event. Finally, the gathering sang the School Anthem, a fitting way to conclude the day, united as a school family.

The farewell was not just a goodbye but a celebration of achievements, relationships, and the beginning of new journeys. As the batch of 2024-25 leaves the halls of Carmel, they take with them the values, friendships, and experiences that will guide them as they step into the future.

Farewell, dear students! Go light your world and shine bright!!
