IDAK Conducts Successful Dental Camp at Al Resala Bilingual School

The Indian Dentists Alliance in Kuwait (IDAK), affiliated with the Kuwait Dental Association (KDA), successfully organized a dental camp at Al Resala Bilingual School, special education needs division. This event, aimed at promoting dental health among students, saw a commendable turnout and positive engagement from both the school administration and IDAK representatives.

A team of dedicated dentists represented IDAK at the camp, including Dr. Prashanthy R. Prasad (Chair of IDAK’s CWC), Dr. Ajay Vazhiyodan (Co-chair), Dr. Thomas Thomas, Dr. Dhanalakshmi Mannem, Dr. Valentina Fernandes, Dr. Jayashree Dexith, Dr. Sabina Arsiwala, Dr. Akshara Mary Thomas, Dr. Jubin Easo Jose, and Dr. Jane John Thomas.

The Principal of Al Resala Bilingual School, Ms. Sahar Mahmoud Hassan, along with Mr. Ibrahim Khalil and Ms. Fahima Ahmed Abdul Fateh, extended full support to the initiative. They expressed appreciation for IDAK's commitment to screening and educating around 160 students on oral health.

An interactive session led by Dr. Jane John Thomas highlighted effective oral hygiene practices, capturing the attention of students and their caregivers. As part of the camp, dental kits sponsored by Dental 8 Clinic and Lacalut Kuwait were distributed to students, along with IDAK’s patient handbook.

IDAK expressed its gratitude to Al Mulla Exchange and Mango Hyper for partnering in this community welfare initiative. IDAK thanks the logistics support by the Virtus Dental Clinic and Arabiya Clinic.
