710 new cases while 1,469 recovered in last 24 hours

The Ministry of Health announced, Wednesday, 710 new infections of the coronavirus (COVID-19), raising the total to 29,359. Deaths reached 230 with the addition of 4 fatalities.

The latest cases include 256 Kuwaiti citizens, 143 residents from India, 93 from Bangladesh and 91 from Egypt, among other nationalities, he elaborated.

In the last 24 hours, 1469 cases were recovered making the total recovery to 15,750.

Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh residential area reported 82 cases, Farwaniya 73, Khaitan 41, Waha 36, Salmiya 28 and Saad Al Abdulla 28 cases.

Those currently receiving treatment at hospitals reached 13,379 patients.
