The SIMS School in Salmiya witnessed a momentous occasion as the Kuwait Tamil Sangam (KTS) held its inaugural program to mark the commencement of its 19th year.
The event saw a gathering of the Tamil community, distinguished guests, well-wishers, and sponsors, all celebrating this new chapter. Dr. Anandhi Natarajan was installed as the President of KTS, highlighting her dedication to strengthening community bonds, promoting Tamil culture, and supporting educational initiatives within the Tamil diaspora in Kuwait. Mr. Yathavamoorthy took on the role of General Secretary, collaborating with Dr. Natarajan to roll out initiatives aligned with the aspirations of the Kuwait Tamil Sangam members. Prominent film personalities attended as chief guests, bringing additional excitement to the event. A Tamil talk show, led by Pulavar MA. Ramalingam, featured local participants alongside guest speakers from Tamil Nadu, enriching the program with diverse perspectives.
The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, followed by a delightful dinner provided by Saravanaa Bhavan, leaving attendees with fond memories and a renewed sense of community
