"The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated." – Mahatma Gandhi

On October 4th, the kindergarten wing of Bhavans Smart Indian School and Jack and Jill Pre-School, Kuwait celebrated Animal Day with enthusiasm and creativity, involving all the students. The school aimed to instil a love for animals and foster empathy for all living creatures through engaging hands-on activities.

In the Pre-KG section, the children enjoyed a puppet-making session focused on creating their very own leopard puppets using disposable cups, helping them explore their artistic skills while learning about the majesty of wildlife. The LKG students expressed their creativity through dot painting and decorating vibrant animal shapes with intricate designs. Meanwhile, the UKG children showcased their precision and imagination through the ancient art of origami, folding paper into foxes.

The school celebrated the children's love for animals through distinct activities that added their love for nature too, thus developing them as responsible citizens of this earth. The overall spirit of Animal Day was created in the classrooms and brought both fun and compassion.
