OICC Kuwait postpones Onam celebrations

Following the Wayanad landslide disaster, the OICC Kuwait National Committee has announced that the planned Onam celebration this year has been postponed.

OICC National Committee President Varghese Puthukulangara and General Secretary B.S. Pillai said that the initial instalment of OICC Kuwait's contribution towards the Wayanad rehabilitation project, announced by the Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi, is increased from 5 lakhs to 10 lakhs.
