Ravija Sandaruwan’s Explosive 102 Leads Kuwait to Thrilling Victory, Stuns Hong Kong China in KCC T20I Tri Nations Cup Final

Kuwait emerged as the champions of the KCC T20I Tri Nations Cup 2024 with a dominant performance in the final against Hong Kong China, thanks to an extraordinary unbeaten century by Ravija Sandaruwan. His stunning knock of 102* off just 48 balls, featuring nine fours and seven sixes at a strike rate of 212.5, led Kuwait to a comprehensive victory by chasing down 147 runs in just 13.5 overs. Sandaruwan's innings was nothing short of spectacular, leaving the opposition stunned and setting the tone for Kuwait’s triumphant run.

Earlier in the match, Hong Kong China managed to post a total of 146-5 in their 20 overs, with disciplined bowling performances from Kuwait’s attack. Shafeeq, Adnan, Yaseen Patel, Shiraz, and Captain Aslam were instrumental in controlling the opposition's innings, ensuring that Hong Kong China couldn’t accelerate their scoring. Yaseen Patel’s two crucial wickets and the collective effort of the bowling unit kept the pressure on, preventing any major partnerships from forming.

Kuwait’s victory in the final showcased their all-around superiority, with both their batting and bowling units firing on all cylinders. Ravija Sandaruwan’s century will be remembered as one of the finest performances in the tournament, leading his team to a well-deserved championship. This win marks a significant achievement for Kuwait, highlighting their dominance in the KCC T20I Tri Nations Cup 2024
