The Rhetorics team was invited to conduct a Public Speaking Summer Camp for students from the Jamal Mohammed Alumni Association (JMACK) during July.
The program lasted over a month, featuring eight classes covering subjects such as prepared speeches, impromptu speeches, debates, group discussions, and storytelling sessions. Teen students researched topics related to the United Nations Sustainable Goals and shared their views.
Ms. Alina, the course instructor, led the camp, providing students with a basic overview of public speaking skills. She remarked, "The success of the program was evident in the feedback from parents. Kudos to all students and especially parents for their trust, patience, and dedication."
From JMACK, Mr. Ameer and Ms. Salma were actively involved throughout the sessions. This initiative was their brainchild, aimed at providing valuable coaching to JMACK members and their families.
A total of 15 students attended the summer camp, all demonstrating dedication and enthusiasm in learning the art of public speaking.
