ICSK Khaitan Hosts Khoj 2024 Award Ceremony

As a beacon of academic and extracurricular excellence, ICSK instils a spirit of innovation and exploration in its students. Through KHOJ 2024, the school not only provided a platform for budding artists but also fostered a culture of breaking barriers and perceiving the world through fresh perspectives. ICSK Khaitan took immense pride in orchestrating the highly anticipated event of the year, the Award Ceremony for KHOJ 2024, on May 30th at 4:30 p.m. This monumental occasion aimed to honour the exceptional talents who emerged victorious in a grand competition spanning both on-stage and off-stage activities from May 1 to May 4, 2024.

Mrs. Amena Japanwala, Organizational Development Manager, Agility, Kuwait was the distinguished Chief Guest of the evening. She was auditioned for Mrs India worldwide pageant and had won two crowns—Second Runner-Up Middle East and Mrs Stunning. Mr. Vinukumar Nair, Honorary Vice Chairman, Mr. Azharuddin Amer Mohammed, Honorary Secretary, Mr S. N. Raju, Honorary Treasurer, Dr. V Binumon, Principal of ICSK Senior, Mr. Rajesh Nair, Principal of ICSK Amman, Mrs C Sheeja, Principal of ICSK Junior, Mrs. Susan Rajesh, Vice Principal of ICSK Senior, Mrs. Sherly Dennis, Director of ISEK, Dr. Mary Isaac, Vice Principal of ICSK Amman, Mrs. Santhikrishna, Deputy Vice Principal of ICSK Junior, Mrs. Sushmeeta Prakash, Vice Principal of ICSK Khaitan, Mrs. Bhavyata Awasthi, Academic Coordinator of ICSK Khaitan, teachers of ICSK Khaitan, parents and award winners were a part of the momentous event.

The program commenced with a formal Islamic Prayer, followed by renditions of the national anthems of Kuwait and India. The ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest symbolized unity and enlightenment. Principal Mr K G Shirsath in his welcome address extended a cordial welcome to the august gathering. Acknowledging the dedication of the teachers in encouraging student participation across multiple events, Mr Shirsath lauded their efforts and extended heartfelt congratulations to both participants and organizers for their relentless efforts in making the ceremony a grand success. The rendition of classical song and gracious welcome dance left the audience in awe. The Chief Guest was felicitated conjointly by Mr. Vinukumar Nair and Mr. K G Shirsath. Mrs. Amena addressing the audience reminisced about her schooldays in the Indian Community School. Through her rhetoric speech and gripping activity, she added a vibrant effect to the event, igniting a renewed sense of motivation among the audience.

A grand felicitation ceremony was organized as a part of the mega event to honour the outstanding achievements of students who excelled in the CBSE board exam 2023-2024. The remarkable cultural program featured a diverse array of captivating performances including group song, group dance, solo dance, musical performances, and fashion show. Each talent showcased was truly spectacular, reflecting the immense dedication and hard work of the students, making the event a feast for the senses.

The audience wholeheartedly embraced and encouraged every performance, showering the winners with enthusiastic applause and admiration. Acknowledging the pivotal role of the event coordinators, they were commended for their passionate support in nurturing the students' artistic aspirations. The venue buzzed with excitement throughout the festivities, culminating in a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Sushmeeta Prakash, Vice Principal of ICSK Khaitan. In her address, Ms. Sushmeeta Prakash expressed gratitude for the divine blessings that enriched the program's success. She lauded the principal for his visionary leadership, acknowledged the dedication of the program committee and teachers, and expressed appreciation to the students and parents for their active participation and presence.

Mrs. Blessie Princeline Shalini, Mrs. Sheenam Khan, Mr. Mehdi, and Mrs. Shagufta Ahmed served as the hosts for the evening, bringing professionalism and enthusiasm to their roles as they facilitated the event with poise and elegance.
