A Home Close to My Heart

A second homeland is like another roof over one’s head, and for every single person that additional home becomes sometimes even more than your hometown because of the enormous amounts of time we spend there that it starts to feel like a place to be.

Kuwait, my birth place – is very special to me, officially the State of Kuwait, is a country in West Asia. It is situated in the northern edge of Eastern Arabia at the tip of the Persian Gulf, but apart from all that Kuwait is a country that gives you the feeling of something more than a home form the moment you step into the country. It’s a peaceful place with bright mornings and cosy, wonderful nights. This country is home to more than 4 million people with Indian population of more than 900,000.

Even after being a minor, additional residents of this country, it has offered us a perfect life with a socially friendly environment, security, and several privileges in the domains of education, housing, health, employment, energy, water food and electricity. This country not only provides us a wonderful second home but also provides us an astonishingly comfortable life with its many luxuries and its affordability. Kuwait is not just a country but is a starting point for the successful lives of many people, giving several of us opportunities to fly high. This land of opportunities had given us several gifts where the chances of exposure are more, owing to an international mix community that forms the Kuwait population, cross section of the world.

Kuwait may be a dry desert and not as colourful as India but it holds attraction better as many others like for the mesmeric Kuwait Towers, Souq Mubarakiya , Kuwait city, beautiful sea beaches and malls like – Aveneu, The Lake Mall and 360 mall and several other beautiful gardens like the Shaheed park, Ahmedi garden…the endless.

It is not just a second home or a bread giving land it is something even more than that to all its citizens, to all those who come to this country leaving their motherland in search for better life – This country gave them a home, to all those children who grew up here educating themselves and living their childhood garden of memories. All its expats especially we Indians are extremely thankful to this country and for all it has given to us.

Shukran Kuwait

I would like to congratulate Kuwait as it celebrates the 25th of February marking the anniversary of the day on which Sheikh Abdullah Al-Salim Al-Sabah became the ruler of Kuwait in 1950, who was an exceptional leader. During his reign, he signed a treaty that secured Kuwait's independence from Britain, putting an end to its status as a British protectorate in 1961, and the 26th of February the date which marks the end of the Gulf War raising triumph of peace and freedom over adversity.

We too shall proudly raise KUWAIT flag on the 25th & 26th of February

Kuwait, My Country, May you be safe and glorious!

I LOVE KUWAIT!
