Kala (Art) Kuwait conducted “NIRAM 2023” Children’s Day Painting Competition on Online Platform in Association with AMERICAN TOURISTER’, on Friday, 10th November 2023 at 2 pm. Students from more than 26 Indian Schools in Kuwait have taken part in the painting competition.

"NIRAM-2023” the popular painting competition conducted on the occasion of Children's Day celebration by marking the 134th birth day of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the First Prime Minister of India. Kala (Art) Kuwait is delighted to celebrate its 19th Anniversary of “NIRAM” Painting Competition which was opened for all students of Indian Schools in Kuwait. There were 4182 online entries out of which 3368 children took part in this competition.

In view of the recent announcement by the Kuwait Ministry regarding halting all celebrations and concerts until further notice, students were participated in the competition from their own homes using the current technologies. The competition was held in four groups in drawing and painting. Each group was notified the subjects one hour before the competition starts through Kala(Art) Kuwait’s website and the contestant’s emails, and each group was given until 5 pm to upload the completed drawing to the designated emails. Clay Modeling Competition also conducted for 7th to 12th Standard Students.

The results of the Competitions will be announced by the organizing committee as well as the judging committee on 1st December 2023 through leading news Medias and also Websites. Kala(Art) Kuwait announce exclusive prizes for the winners as first place with gold coin & gold medal, second place with silver medal and third place with bronze medal along with memento, certificate & special gifts. Besides the 1st, 2nd, & 3rd, there will be 75 participants to Merit Prizes and Ten (10) percent of the participants will be awarded with consolation prizes. Participation Certificates also will be provided to all participants.
