'Kala(Art) Kuwait' organized a friendship gathering celebrating the festival of Kerala ‘Onam’, a symbol of prosperity and harmony, and Eid, a symbol of mutual love and brotherhood. Kuwaiti entrepreneur Sudhir Babu inaugurated the Onam-Eid celebration organized at Abbasiya Imperial Hall on Friday, September 15th. President Jason Joseph presided over the function where General Secretary Ragesh welcomed and Organizing Secretary Sivakumar gave a vote of thanks. Social worker Salim Kommeri and Media Secretary Mukesh gave greetings. Program General Convener Johny, Executive Member Jyoti Sivakumar, Ambili Ragesh, socio-cultural activists Hameed Kelot, Basheer Batha, Babuji Batheri, Najeeb, Biju Stephen and Rajagopal were also present at the inauguration ceremony.
There were various art programs and singing performances by artists from Kuwait. Aneecha Shaijit and Sunil Kumar led the art programs. An Opulent Meal, “Traditional Onasadhya” also was arranged by the organizers.
