The event was help at Ardiya Public Auditorium, where FOKE President and General Secretary received Indian Ambassador in Kuwait His Excellency Dr. Adarsh Swaika and Second Secretary Shri Anantha S. R. Iyer accompanied by Chenda Melam and Thalappoli.

The Onam Celebration was, the Indian Ambassador in Kuwait. FOKE President Xavier Antony presided over the function. Indian Embassy Second Secretary Anantha S. R. Iyer also participated in the public function.

The General Manager of Al Mulla International Exchange, Philip Koshy, FOKE Treasurer Sabu TV, Advisory Board Member Anil Keloth, Vanithavedi Chairperson Sajija Mahesh and Balavedi Convenor Jeeva Suresh extended their greetings.

In his inaugural address, he said, "This is his first Onam experience, and may the celebrations like this harvest festival make us see all Indians as equals in line with Sri Narayana Guru's message of One Caste, One Religion, One God" He especially appreciated the people behind the beautiful flower Rangoli and the FOKE organizers behind such activities that bring together people from all walks of life.

Apart from the FOKE members, more than 1300 people including representatives of various organizations, journalists and social workers participated in the Onam celebration. Under the leadership of FOKE member Ajith, a group of FOKE members prepared a sumptuous Onasadya.

Varieties of fascinating performances by the members of FOKE and their children made the event colorful. The event was concluded by a musical extravaganza by the singers of FOKE. Those who put up the art programs were honored at the event. General Secretary Vijayakumar N.K welcomed the audience and Program Convener Rajith K.C. expressed vote of thanks.
