ICF Citizens Assembly "Pourasabha" calls for unflinching resistance to protect pluralism which is the basis of Indian democracy. ICF Fahaheel Central "Paurasabha" was organized as part of Indian Independence Day celebrations with the theme "Pluralism is Guaranteed".
India is a mixture of diversity. Democracy is the right to be different. Attempts are being made to eliminate pluralism and build a monolithic country. The Poursabha have opined that attempts to eliminate pluralism by using language, history, culture and education as weapons will tarnish the growth of the nation.
Shukur Maulavi Kaipuram inaugurated the gathering held at Fahaheel Metro Medical Center Auditorium under the chairmanship of Shamsuddin Saqafi. Aboobacker Sidheek Koottayi presented the keynote.
Syed Saitalavi Sakhafi Thangal, Preman Illath, Ahmad K Maniyur (ICF), Binoy Chandran (OICC), Dr. Abdul Hameed (KMCC), Musfar MP ( Kala), Sathar Kunnil (IMCC) and Thahir Cheripur (RSC) spoke with greeting.
Patriotic song was performed by Zakariya. Shihab Varam welcomed the audience and Jaafar Nadakavu conveyed vote of thanks.
