IOMF Kuwait bids farewell to Veteran Lt (IN) Engr. P.C George

Indian Orthodox Mercy Fellowship is a charitable organization under St. Gregorios Indian Orthodox Maha Idavaka Kuwait gave farewell to Mr. P C George and Mrs. Shoba George , for the 42 years of continuous service to the organization, on 25th May 2023, as he is retiring from Kuwait. He held various positions in IOMF including that of VP during his 42-year service with IOMF Kuwait.

Mr. P.C George began his career as a Naval officer after graduating from Mar Athanasios college of Engineering (MACE), Kothamangalam in Mechanical Engineering. After his tenure in the Indian Navy He joined Kuwait MEW and served as Mechanical Consultant Engineer. He played an important role in preparation of MEW Regulations for Air conditioned buildings. During the last few years, he was training and guiding Kuwaiti engineers in HVAC system design and other mechanical services.He was the only expatriates engineer in MEW Regulations's revision committee.

He also held various lead positions in associations like Kuwait Engineers Forum, Institution of Engineers India, Indian Veterans Association Kuwait, M A College of Engineering Alumini Association Kuwait.

IOMF President Rev. Fr. Dr. Biju Parakal presided the farewell meeting and IOMF Vice President Mr. Alex George welcomed the gathering. Dr. Jacob Zachariah, Mr. Kurien Varghese, Mrs. Leni Renjan, Ms. Liya Renjan, Mr. Mathai Varghese felicited Mr. George for his dedicated service and outstanding leadership qualities, during the farewell meeting

In his reply speech, Mr. P.C George thanked everyone for the support he received during his 42 years’ time in IOMF. The meeting concluded with vote of thanks by Secretary Mr. Arun Chandy.
