In accordance with the CBSE NEP 2020 policy that requires students to attend Skill Education courses which would prepare and expose them to various vocational skills, Indian Public School organized a Job Shadowing Programme at the school premises in collaboration with INJAZ Kuwait along with the volunteer Mentors from companies like Alghanim Industries, Talent Cycle, DHL and Otis.

The month-long workshop started on 3rd May 2023 with 90 students of class VI. The students were divided into groups of 10 and activities related to the theme ‘Junior Innovation Camp’ were organized for the students. Activities conducted like Word Search, Product Development, Logo Designing and Product Naming features etc. were presented to a panel of judges. Students were awarded according to their performance. The students of class VII worked on the theme ‘It’s My Business’ and for class VIII it was ‘Entrepreneur Master Class’. The session concluded on Thursday, 25th May 2023 with students being engaged in various thought provoking and commendable activities and the outstanding ones were appreciated with medals.

An Innovation Camp was organized for the Class XII Commerce and Humanities students on 25th May 2023 at the school auditorium. The creative and inventive teams came up with profitable and lucrative ideas regarding their products and services, ensuring that a level of pragmatism is maintained throughout. A survey was also conducted immediately after the product launch. The winners of the competition were selected based on their presentation and performance. The teams were judged and awarded with gold, silver and bronze medals by the Principal of Indian Public School, Mrs A Cherian.

The student community of Indian Public School benefitted immensely from the programme and participated enthusiastically. They were all praise for this memorable workshop which prompted them to showcase their creative skills and recognized their hidden talents.
