Pathanamthitta District Friendship Forum formed

In the twilight hours of a pleasant week-end, May 19 2023, a new shining Star, ”Pathanamthitta District Friendship Forum (PDFF)” radiating the bright rays of “Friendship”, majestically entered the social skies of Kuwait illuminating the landscape of humanity that hosts legions of natives of Pathanamthitta District.

Pathanamthitta District Friendship Forum (PDFF), formed with the aim of building bridges of friendship between residents of Kuwait and ex-Kuwait residents hailing from different places of the District, under one broad umbrella of friendship fraternity with the motto of “Friendship Forever”, was inaugurated on Friday May 19, 2023 by lighting the traditional lamp and proclaiming the noble ideals and thoughts of humanism and enlightenment, in a glittering and colorful function held at the Aspire Mini Hall of Aspire Indian International School, Abbassiya on Friday May 19, 2023 in the presence of a pleasant, supporting and appreciative crowd consisting of only the Group members and their families.

The Event was presided over by its Founder and Chief Group Organizer and a senior native of Makkamkunnu in PathanamthittaTown, Shri. Oommen George (Jose Mannil). The inauguration rite was performed by PDFF Senior Group Organizer, prominent Industrialist in Kuwait and a leading social luminary in Kuwait and Kerala, Shri. K. Jayakumar. The Welcome Speech was rendered by PDFF Senior Group Organizer and well-known philanthropist, social and cultural personality in Kuwait, Shri. Raju Daniel Tharayil. Shri. Murali Panicker, PDFF Chief Event Coordinator & PDFF Senior Group Organizer, a leading Social Activist and a prominent leader of blood donating group that serves Kuwait and India, offered Vote of thanks. PDFF Logo release was also performed along with the inauguration ceremony.

The function began with the prayer song recited by Kumari Salini. Kuwait’s leading businessman and Senior PDFF Member, Shri. K. S. Varghese, and well-known social personalities Shri. Chessil Cherian Ramapuram (friend and we’ll-wisher of PDFF), and Shri. Kadavil Thomas Mathew (Director of Migrants International), PDFF Group leaders, Smt. Susan Cherian and Shri. Jacob Thomas rendered felicitation speeches. The function presented opportunities for self-introduction of members and discussions on Group’s objectives and activity programs and related issues, under the direction and coordination of PDFF Group leaders Shri. Raju Daniel Tharayil and Shri, Subin Thomas John and Shri. Vinu Kallalil, and Shri. Murali Panicker respectively.

PDFF Group leader Smt. Kalaivani Santhosh, and Miss. Nishi Raju, a young and rising cultural Star performed the compering role exquisitely and the Group leaders with long and creditable record in social, cultural and humanitarian services, Shri. Vinu Kallalil, Shri, Cherian Peringadu, Shri. M.J. George Chenneerkara, Shri. Manoj Maveli, Shri, Subin Thomas John, Shri. Jacob Thomas, Shri. Renjit R. Nair (Program Coordinator), Shri. Shibu Varghese Othara, and Shri. Binu Mathew, were the chief architects of organizing and orchestrating the successful launch of Pathanamthitta District Friendship Forum (PDFF) in Kuwait’s social domain.

Pathanamthitta District Friendship Forum (PDFF) thanks our Group Organizers, Leaders and Event Coordinators for their sincere and dedicated efforts and efficient and well-knit Teamwork and our valuable respected members in Kuwait and in Kerala for joining us in our grand vision of “Friendship Forever”, their participation in the Event, and solid support and encouragement throughout, all of which helped to realize the successful launch of PDFF.

It is the earnest wish and hope of everyone connected with the Group , from Founders to Organizers and Members that the entry of Pathanamthitta District Friendship Forum (PDFF) in Kuwait’s overcrowded social landscape would turn out to be a watershed in the lives of Kuwait residents and ex-Kuwait residents of Pathanamthitta District and bring a breath of fresh air, focusing primarily on building, fostering and perpetuating bond of friendship and the well-being of all in Kuwait as well as in Kerala and spreading its broad wings to shelter, support, comfort and lift up fellow humans whoever happens to be in the pit of misfortune.

May the Golden Flag of “Friendship” Flutter Over the Skies of Humanity all over the Universe .
