The Kuwait Chapter of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India conducted the first physical CPE of the new year titled ERP & Evolution of Finance: Exploring the Intersection of Technology and Strategy. It was held in Holiday Garden, Avenues .
The event saw two riveting speakers – Ms. Shobha Singh and CA Lokendra Rawat – Business Directors at Oracle, who captivated the audiences’ attention with their expertise and knowledge on the subject. Navigating an uncertain world where the 5th wave of industrial transformation has begun is crucial to unlocking opportunities. Artificial Intelligence, cyber security, big data and machine learning are just some of the frontiers of technology at our disposal.
This was followed by a panel discussion by business leaders of the community. Mr. Moustapha Chami, CA Shyam Kalyanaraman and CA Jaishankar Srinivasan were the esteemed panelists while the Chairperson of the Chapter CA Sriram Gopalakrishnan was the moderator. A large number of Chartered Accountants participated in the event and it was well received by one and all. The Q & A session threw up some interesting questions as embracing new technologies is the hallmark of chartered accountants.
