Billava Sangha Kuwait conducts the very successful Mangalorean Food Fest “Bale Unka… Tinka”

Another feather was added in the BSK cap as it delivers yet another houseful event, the Mangalore Food Fest “Bale Unka Tinka” on 28th April 2023 at Central School, Abbasiya.

The fest was inaugurated by BSK President, Ms. Sushma Manoj, Advisors, Mr. Raghu Poojary and Mr. Krishna Poojary, Food Fest coordinator, Mr. Govind Belchada and members in the presence of all Tulunadu natives. Mr. Govind Belchada while welcoming the guests spoke of the importance and the love for the traditional Mangalorean Food.

The menu of the event attracted large number of people who were served with zest and enthusiasm. The first time venture of BSK was lauded by all attendees and Mangalorean food lovers who relished the food inspite of waiting in a long queue to get their favourite food on the plate. The menu for the fest included Veg and non-veg main course, snacks, desserts and drinks which were prepared by BSK members and well wishers.

The event was sponsored and supported by Salmiya Clinic. The event photography was ably done by Mr. Uday and Mr. Calwin and hosted by Mr. Rajesh Kunder. The large utensils and chafing dishes were generously given by Mughal Tandoori Restaurant.

BSK Management take this opportunity to thank the sponsor, the supporters, the excellent cooks who left everyone licking fingers, thank our committee members and friends who worked hard at the food counters and kitchen as they provided selfless service.
